Fiddler and Mile Zero on DVD

Norman Jewison's 1971 Oscar-winning musical Fiddler on the Roof finally got the deluxe treatment Jan. 23 on DVD. Special features on the disc include the doc Norman Jewison, Filmmaker and a commentary with Jewison and lead actor Topol (seen above left).

Andrew Currie's familial drama Mile Zero, with Michael Riley as a recently divorced father coping with life away from his wife and son, arrived quietly on Jan.25 to home video. Extras include a director's commentary, deleted scenes and interviews. Currie's much-anticipated zombie satire Fido hits theaters on March 16.

According to online DVD rental site zip.ca, director Robert Favreau's Un dimanche Ó Kigali was one of the most requested releases for the week of Jan. 29-Feb. 4, cracking their Top 10 HitPredictor list. Warner Bros Entertainment released the Genie-nominated love story on Jan. 30.
