The successful candidates should have:
• Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
• Elite communication skills, both verbal and in writing
• PC literate (MS Office, Outlook, Excel)
• Knowledge of the film, television, and/or theatre industry
• Previous agency or production experience is a benefit
Literary Agent – (Toronto or Los Angeles)
The Agent will be part of a team to help facilitate the day to day needs of the agency and its clients. This position will work will work closely with fellow agents, associates and assistants to track current television development and production, discover and develop new talent and participate in the management of Meridian’s current roster of clients. You should have a minimum of four years experience within the entertainment industry. Representation experience is a benefit but not required.
Associate – Literary and Talent Divisions (Toronto)
The associate will work closely with agents, fellow associates, assistants and clients to coordinate communication and schedules, contracts and invoicing, track industry data, screen submissions, review material, and help implement special projects. The Associate will play a primary role in the day-to-day management of client needs and operation of the office. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of two years experience within the entertainment industry and have a genuine interest in the representation and client management sector of the industry.
Assistant – Talent Division (Toronto)
The assistant will work closely with agents, fellow assistants and clients to coordinate communication and schedules, send appointments, track industry data, screen submissions, review material, and help implement special projects. The ideal candidate must excel working in a face paced environment and have general knowledge about domestic and service production in Canada.
