We are looking for a post-production project manager to join our team on a one year contract. Must be an energetic, self-starter, with a good understanding of the complexities of post-production in a changing and demanding field. Our customers have difficult jobs with many challenges by the time they arrive at the post-production stage. •Provide exceptional customer service to all clients and manage their expectations.
•Maintain a portfolio of feature film, television and other projects as assigned.
•Oversee the day-to-day management of each assigned project with clear guidelines for looking after the projects technical aspects and processes.
•Review bids at the beginning of each project with sales to fully understand the client’s expectations with regards to the quote and to billing procedures.
•Organize pre-production meetings for all projects, both internally and then with clients.
•Responsible for scheduling operational personnel and resources and ensuring operations is informed of services required by the client.
•Manage internal and external resources required to meet the needs of customers.
•Develop appropriate customer service strategy for scheduling and daily communication with clients.
•Schedule, generate and reconcile work orders in a timely manner.
•Ensure that bookings made with clients are managed in an efficient manner.
•Prepare documentation to support accurate invoicing procedures.
•Liaise between clients, sales, managers and operations.
•Coordinate dailies delivery requirements of each show while paying special attention to the quality and consistency of the video dailies - including editorial media creation, file transfers, streaming review platform and archival tapes.
•Provide internal and external updates on show progress; include status of actual overages and additional services.
•Effectively communicate with customers regarding their work and ensure overages are relayed to the client as they occur.
•Liaise with outside services to manage the status of ongoing client projects.
•Collaborate with other Account / Project Managers to prioritize, organize and assign work received by the department.

•Ability to thrive in a fast-paced post-production environment and work well under pressure.
•Knowledge of Xytech resource and facilities management software, or other post-production related software.
•Comprehensive knowledge of the post-production process for both film and TV from the off-line to final mastering of picture and sound delivery; including – SD, HD, UHD, 2k, 4k, Film, 3D and HDR workflows, including the Digital Intermediate process.
•Knowledge of file-based dailies workflows.
•Knowledge of Aspect Ratios for film and TV, various film and TV formats – HD, UHD, PAL & NTSC pixel dimensions.
•Understanding of the Digital Intermediate workflow; on-line/conforming, color grading, VFX integration, reposition, Pan & Scan, titles/credits, and Digital Cinema encoding etc.
•Working knowledge of audio and sound production; sound editorial, Foley, ADR, premix, mix.
•Understanding of sound delivery including – print mastering 5.1 / 7.1 mix, IMAX, Atmos, 6+2, M&E, DME, Dolby E and AC-3 Encoding, audio lay-back, multi-version sound transfers, etc.
•Experience with network and international distribution deliverables; from creating completed masters for multi-format and multi-version deliverables including, QC (Quality Control and evaluation).
•Keep current and up to-date with the latest emerging trends and advancement in new digital post-production technologies and workflows; from digital acquisitions and file-based media capture, 3D, Audio post-production and streaming media technologies.
•Knowledge of all digital media (Film, Video, and Data), videotape and audiotape formats.
•Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to handle all that is involved in a vital post-production environment.
•Ability to manage and meet strict deadlines with competing priorities.
•Must have strong organizational skills, attention to detail and an ability to work effectively both unsupervised and within a team-based environment.
•Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
•Must have solid keyboarding skills and a good working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.
•Ability to interact with all levels of an organization up through the executive level, maintaining professionalism.
•Able to work alternative times and weekends when required.
•This position is eligible for overtime.
•Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a customer facing post-production environment.
