ImagesInSound is an award winning audio post production facility based in downtown Toronto creating sound design for feature film, television, IMAX/large format, and special venue (themed attractions). We are looking for a post-production project coordinator to join our team in a contract position until August 31st 2018, with the opportunity for an extension. Must be an energetic, self-starter, with a good understanding of audio post production and the post process in general. Our clients have many challenges and we pride ourselves in offering solutions with creative workflows to solve their challenges in sound design and delivery. We make our client experience as relaxed and “easy” as possible.
•Oversee the day-to-day management of each project with clear guidelines for looking after each
projects' technical aspects and processes.
•Prioritize, organize and assign work to production staff.
•Responsible for scheduling the production team and resources and relaying all processes required by the client.
•Manage internal and external resources required to meet the needs of each project.
•Relay work orders and project information to accounts receivable in a timely manner.
•Ensure that sessions made with clients are managed efficiently.
•Communicate clearly with clients and production staff.
•Coordinate delivery requirements of each project while paying special attention to the quality.
•Provide internal and external updates on project progress.
•Other duties as assigned.
•Exceptional customer service skills.
•Ability to thrive in a fast-paced post-production environment and work well under pressure.
•Comprehensive knowledge of the audio post-production process and sound delivery.
•Working knowledge of audio workflows including production; sound editorial, Foley, ADR, premix, mix.
•Understanding of sound delivery including – print mastering 5.1 / 7.1 mix, IMAX, Atmos, 6+2, M&E, and DME, etc
•Experience with network and international audio distribution deliverables.
•Knowledge of all digital media (Film, Video, and Data).
•Problem-solving skills with the ability to handle an ever-changing post-production environment.
•Ability to manage and meet strict deadlines with competing priorities.
•Must have strong organizational skills, attention to detail and an ability to work effectively both unsupervised and within a team-based environment.
•Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
•Must have solid keyboarding skills and a good working knowledge of MS Office, and Google Docs
•Ability to interact with everyone in the organization with a high level of professionalism
•Able to work alternative times and weekends when required.
•This position is eligible for overtime.
•Experience in a "client first" post-production environment.
