Available Positions:
Assistant – Literary Department
Agent – Talent Department

Literary Assistant:
This is an entry level position in the literary department. The assistant will work closely with agents, fellow assistants and clients to coordinate communication and schedules, send appointments, track industry data, screen submissions, review material, and help implement special projects. The ideal candidate must excel working in a face paced environment and have general knowledge about domestic and service production in Canada.
Skills Required:

• Elite communication skills, both verbal and in writing
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• PC literate (MS Office, Outlook, Excel)
• Ability to solve problems efficiently
• Enthusiasm, independence, and commitment
• Knowledge of the entertainment industry and screenwriting is a benefit

Talent Agent:
The Agent will be part of a team of agents who take a highly managerial approach to talent representation. This position will work closely with fellow agents, associates and assistants to track film, television, and theatre projects with the goal of maximizing opportunities for every client at both the emerging and established levels. With the goal of representing an elite roster of leading talent, Meridian takes a long-term approach to our client’s careers and places great value on strong industry relationships. Representation experience is a benefit but not required.


The successful candidates should have:
• Minimum of four years’ experience within the entertainment industry
• Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
• Elite communication skills, both verbal and in writing
• PC literate (MS Office, Outlook, Excel)
• Knowledge of the film, television, and/or theatre industry
• Previous experience interfacing with talent such as agency or
production experience is a benefit
